April Sargent is a Controller for Fulling Accounting and Management, Inc. She has over twenty years’ experience in accounting. April has worked with a full gamut of clientele, from large corporations to small, family-owned companies. She understands the unique challenges that all types of businesses face and is adept at working to overcome them. Nothing excites April more than collaborating with a client on a plan to fit their unique needs and implementing said plan successfully.

While the rest of April’s family is originally from South Dakota, she herself is a Kansas City native. She graduated from Shawnee Mission North high school and holds bachelor's degrees in both accounting and business from Park University.

April began her accounting career while at Park, where she developed a talent for time management between schoolwork and actual work that would endear her to clients years later during her professional journey. She spent over twelve years with a wholesale distributor before transitioning to a firm specializing in providing accounting services for multiple clients.

April and her husband have two boys who are the love of her life. When she’s not cheering on the sidelines of their soccer matches, April can be found listening to podcasts, testing out newfound meal recipes on her family, or reading a book while catching a quiet minute or two. In her free time, April enjoys distance running and has completed Kansas City’s Hospital Hill run multiple times.
