The Fulling team is watching Leaving a Legacy - Stephanie Stuckey.

“Leading in today’s climate is tough enough. However, leaving a legacy that matters is what counts. Stephanie Stuckey lays out a process of how to not just lead well but how to lead with leaving a legacy in mind.”

In our group discussions we talked about wanting to leave a legacy of faith, generosity, and having a servant heart.

Many of us talked about parents, grandparents, pastors, and those we do ministry with being ones that have poured into us and helped shape who we are today.

We talked about the fact that we are all leaving a legacy or going to be remembered in some way.  I mentioned taking time to ask those close to us or our kids what they see as our priorities as a time of reflection to make sure we are living our lives in a way that we are leaving the legacy we want to leave behind.

We talked about making sure we’re intentional with the time that we spend with our kids while they’re under our roofs amidst the busyness of life.  Also balancing not being selfish about spending our time away with our spouse or friends when we need to invest in our kiddos, but also showing them that it’s a priority to maintain your marriage/friendships as well.

Food for Thought

  1. How do you want to leave a legacy?

  2. Who have been people in your life who have poured into you, making you who you are today?

  3. In your current role, what are some things that you’re doing that are making things better off for those who come behind you?
