Curtis Aubrey, CPA is an Account Manager for Fulling Management & Accounting. At Fulling Management, he focuses on financial analysis, project implementation, and serves in the role of CFO for various clients.
Curtis has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, operations management, and human resources. Curtis has extensive experience with accounting and business software applications including Peachtree Accounting, Microsoft Office applications, Lotus Notes, Great Plains, and is certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor® Program Member.
Curtis was the chief financial officer for a large international nonprofit organization overseeing the financial, human resource, and information technology operations. As part of those duties Curtis helped implement policies and procedures to streamline the operations of the organization enabling them to increase their gift-in-kind inventory distribution to over $100 million annually.
Curtis was also the chief financial officer for an upstart national trust company helping them grow rapidly to $3 billion in assets under management and achieve ISO-9001 certification. Prior to this, he was Assistant Controller for a publicly traded community bank holding company, focusing on financial accounting and compliance reporting for the SEC and regulatory agencies. He also worked at a national CPA firm providing tax and accounting advisory services to small and medium-sized businesses in various industries including healthcare, construction, nonprofit, retail, and construction.
Curtis is a Kansas City native. He and his wife Tricia have lived in the Olathe area since 1993. Curtis graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1994 with a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Taxation. Prior to this he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 1992.
