Paul has over 25 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Cash Management, Forecasting, Financial Analysis, Internal Controls, Strategic Planning, Benefits, Business Insurance, Human Resources, Banking Relationships, Budgeting and Culture Change.
Paul grew up in St. Louis. He moved to Olathe with his wife Jacquie and two daughters, Jocelyn and Cydney, in 2000. He graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
Paul's professional background includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of a local Kansas City telecommunications company, where he led a multi-location organization with a national footprint. Accomplishments included streamlining the operations, increasing profitability, reducing inventory and labor costs, decreasing accounts receivable, implementing job costing and eliminating corporate debt.
In addition, Paul has been the CFO / Controller for several types of organizations; including: 501C-3 Non-profits, S-Corps, C- Corps and LLC’s. Industry experience includes: Healthcare Auditing, Moving and Storage, Telecommunications, Distribution, Pipe Fabricating and Mobility Adapted Automobile Products.
He has worked on various hardware and software platforms including: AS400, Sage MAS200, Syspro and QuickBooks. Certifications include: Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor® for both the Online and Desktop versions and Paul passed the CPA exam on his first sitting.
