Rick McGlocklin is the Practice Manager for Fulling Management & Accounting, Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, project management, m&a due diligence, budgeting, risk management, and auditing. He also has extensive experience with aligning finance departments to company strategies but also managing them with proper GAAP and reporting disciplines.
Rick grew up in the St. Louis area. He moved to Olathe with his wife Bo-kyoung and two daughters, Lydia and Christiana, in 2010. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and from UMKC with a MBA. He is a CPA and passed the exam on his first sitting.
Rick's professional background includes recently serving as Chief Financial Officer with three small to mid-sized organizations in the service, education and financial industries. His experience allowed him to quickly transform these organizations into closing the books and providing KPIs (key performance indicators) within a few days after finishing the prior month. He was able to partner with each company’s CEO to manage and execute budgets, and risk management objectives among other operational initiatives. He also recently led a mid sized organization through an effective ERP software change from Peachtree to MS Dynamics SL.
Rick has worked on various hardware and software platforms including: Peachtree, MAS500 and 90, MS Dynamics SL and Great Plains, and Quickbooks on line and desktop.
