Elaine Kovacs, CPA is an Associate Director of Client Services for Fulling Management & Accounting, Inc. and serves as a CFO for a portfolio of clients. She has over 30 years of accounting management experience in both public practice and private industry.
Elaine attended the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio and received a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Math and minoring in Economics. She continued her education at Baldwin Wallace University receiving an additional degree in Accounting.
Elaine began her career in the banking industry where she held several roles starting in Management Training and Branch Management then being promoted to Credit Manager where she was able to assist businesses with their credit needs. She then moved onto become a Cost Accountant and then Assistant Controller at a large manufacturing company. While at this company she participated in large cost projects which reviewed cost policies and standard costs for all parts produced and was chosen to be part of the young leaders of the company group. Elaine then left private industry and moved into public accounting where she spent the last 20 years assisting clients with all their tax and accounting needs, including filing of all taxes, assisting with tax compliance issues, and preparation and analysis of financial statements.
Elaine grew up and continues to live in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoys running, spinning, yoga, reading, and spending time with her husband Mike, her sons Stephen and Matthew, and their Siberian Husky puppy, Apollo. They enjoy watching their favorite Cleveland sports teams and spending time with family and friends.
