Since April 2000, Rusty Fulling has served as the founder and CEO of Fulling Management & Accounting, Inc. (FMA). Rusty and his wife Pam have been Olathe residents since 1989. Rusty has more than 30 years of experience in general accounting and financial operations management.
Located in Olathe, KS, FMA provides a wide range of business management and accounting services to innovative small business leaders across the country. Rusty works with a diverse client base in industries such as bioscience, manufacturing, professional services, property management and more. Rusty is particularly interested in the use of technology in business.
Rusty lends his expertise to several organizations in the community. He has mentored second-year students in an MBA program at Rockhurst University and has served as a featured speaker at FastTrac, an entrepreneur training course sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation. In addition, Rusty was selected to participate in the Entrepreneurs’ Boardroom, Kauffman’s strategic leadership program. He also has served on the business advisory boards of Mid-America Nazarene University and National American University. Rusty has received a number of business awards and nominations including the Heart of America Ethics in Business Award, KC Small Business 25 under 25 Award, and The Kansas City Chamber’s 2010 Small Business of the Year Award.
Rusty has served in a variety of Kansas City based non-profit organizations such as the Kansas City Rescue Mission, Harvesters, as well as led a number of foreign mission trips through Honduras Ministries. He often leads small group studies on topics such as parenting, financial management, and marriage for local churches.
Before founding FMA, Rusty was Director of Accounting Operations for Anchor Properties, Inc., Leawood, Kansas and served as a consultant with a small Kansas City CPA firm. Rusty Fulling graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting.
