Persevering Through Tough Times: Ms. Wheelchair USA

At our recent team meeting, we pressed pause on the day-to-day and leaned into something deeper—growth, perspective, and purpose.

We watched an inspiring talk by Ms. Wheelchair USA on persevering through tough times, and it sparked some powerful conversation around how we show up—not just at work, but in life.

One of the biggest takeaways? The difference between gifts and talents. Talents are the skills we’ve built over time—what we’ve learned, practiced, and refined. But gifts? Those run deeper. They’re part of who we are—wired into us with purpose, passion, and intention. And when we tap into both, that’s where the magic happens.

We also dug into what it really means to lead well. Transparency came up again and again. Because real leadership isn’t about having it all together—it’s about being honest, vulnerable, and human. That kind of openness builds trust, strengthens relationships, and creates space for growth. And let’s be honest—growth rarely happens in comfort. The best things come when we’re willing to step into the uncomfortable.

And finally, a challenge we’re carrying forward: leave things better than we found them.

Not just in big, sweeping ways—but in the small, everyday moments. In how we serve our clients. In how we support each other. In how we show up in every interaction. Because when we’re intentional about encouraging, guiding, and lifting others, the impact goes far beyond the task at hand.

It’s not just about the work we do—it’s about the legacy we leave behind.
