Who Helped You Get Here? A Conversation on Influence and Purpose
In a recent Fulling team meeting, we watched One-on-One with Thasunda Brown Duckett and reflected on what truly shapes purpose and leadership.
Our conversation centered on the people who helped us get where we are today — often parents, family members, and mentors whose influence still guides us. We discussed how the most meaningful achievements aren’t defined by recognition, but by the impact we have on others, whether through parenting or helping clients rediscover confidence and fulfillment in their work.
Brown Duckett emphasized the importance of modeling character, especially during challenges, and surrounding ourselves with a trusted “moat” of relationships that keep us grounded in faith and values. Above all, we were reminded of the power of truly seeing people — a simple act that leaves a lasting impact far beyond titles or accolades.
